I was thinking about the question FSIP is asking of members of the public, and here is my response:
#myprison is my expectation of others
Expecting them to treat me a certain way whether with respect, by valuing me or by staying true to their word.
When I expect this of people I am sometimes let down, I feel disappointed, even hurt.
FSIP also asked how people deal with their psychological prisons, in order to feel more free:
The challenge for me is not to set up the suffering of expectation, and focus on what it is the other failed to give me, but rather to take each thing that does come from others as the positive, and to have appreciation for that.
